Is this set up ok? lots of details

Glad I found this community, was about to purchase a pair of Astro A40s, but I am deciding not too after reading here for 5 mins

So ideally I need new headphones for Music (TOOL, some rap) Movies (stream HULU, Netflix) Games (any game on steam? lol). I also work from home and use Skype, my mic I will be getting is:

and will be waiting to here reviews for this (if anyone knows something similar please let me know!):

Anyways my budget is $150 -$250 for the headphones and will most likely be getting:

AKG K701 or 702 Picked from this list http://www.head-fi.org/a/headphone-buying-guide

I also have this sound card that has a built in AMP:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829102033&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NA

My question is:

Would anyone recommend a different set up or different headphones to work with this sound card with the built in amp? I want to make sure I am making the most out of the sound card from my next headphone purchase.
