Different characters comes with them, They get different character sheet, as they are different versions of Strange.

Sorry, I meant it more as: which one is better to get

It really depends what you want to run, both are great in different cases and do different things:
-Normal Strange (with Wong) is a support machine! healing, adding defense dice and a leader for the defender if you want to run them.
-Supreme Strange is a Control and attrition beast with massive damage and moving allies and enemies around

If one was better, why would there be another one?

They still aren’t playable at the same time though, correct?

Correct they have the same secret identity.

Ty! I only play at home with friends since there’s not really game shops around here, and I wasn’t sure if Strange was an exception to the rule since there’s so many universes the sorcerers deal with

No worries, the only exception to that right now is the sentinels. If you want to get more games in you should try table top simulator.

The one that comes with Wong is the leader of the Defenders, and is imo better than the sorcerer supreme version.

There really isn't a "best" when looking at these models holistically. We would need to know what else you have and what affiliations you want to play to really be able to answer that. That being said, here's a summation of what each can do.

The CP23 Strange comes with Wong and is the only leader of the Defenders currently. He is 5 threat and can hold a gem, so he can fill a 6 threat slot. Wong is a great support piece and they work well in Defenders, Midnight Sons, or Convocation. This Strange can heal and boost defenses as well as push characters that he hits around. He also has an attack that has a chance of adding an activated token to an enemy, so he is considered a control piece. He's power hungry due to all those nice superpowers, so you want to have a plan to boost his power gain in order to best use him.

The Strange from the CP67 pack comes with Clea and the Bar with No Doors card, which is the leadership of Convocation (they can choose their leader so it's a bit different). This Strange is mostly offensive, with increased power generation and an area attack that could heal or remove conditions. But this Strange is not a support model. He is intended to attack from range and has close up options for damage as well. He's surprisingly tanky, especially in Convocation with the card Iron Bound Books of Shuma-Gorath. This character does not have the Midnight Sons affiliation. Clea isn't as useful as Wong in most squads, so I really only see her in Convocation. But, like every model in this game, you can theoretically splash her into any list and get decent results when you know how to play her.

I would recommend looking up characters and cards on mcpdb.com if you're curious about what certain models do. AMG has shown all of the cards for its released models and they are all collected on that site. It's a good reference and can help you find out what would be a good fit for your list. Good luck.

The Dr. Strange that comes with Wong is the sole leader of the Defenders. He has great healing, can guve out defense dice, and his builder can push any size character in any direction. He's one of my faborite control/support pieces and can single-handedly get you a win if you know how to use him. Plus Wong is a severly underrated 2-threat.

Dr. Strange, Sorcer Supreme is ok. He has a very good teleport ability, a range 5 attack that can be any damage type, and his area attack can heal allies rather than harm them. I personally find him to not be as flexible. He's a perfectly fine punchy 5-threat but I just don't seem to ever have him do as much as normal Strange.

The Strange from the pack with Wong is a disruptive support piece, handing out conditions, pushing your opponents, adding defence dice to your allies and healing them. He is also the only leader for the Defenders affiliation, if you wanted to play with his leadership.

The Strange from the Clea box is a much more offensive piece, with a costly but powerful control effect.

Strange and Clea come with most of the cards for convocation, including the leadership card that can be applied to any convocation member. However, cards are printable, so buy the strange you loke

Dr. Strange is one of my favorite characters, so I got both versions asap. If you want to have a more supportive character, then get Strange 1 and slap a Soul Stone on that bad boy. If you want to have something a bit more offensive, get Strange2, he has long range attacks with multiple types, as well as teleport for friends (or enemies) which is reeeeally nice. He also makes 3 power automatically so he's good for Eyes on the Prize.

Which is which strange

Ah, sorry! Strange1 is Doctor Strange; Strange2 is Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme.

I would recommend buying Strange Sorcerer Supreme and have around him players like Doctor Voodoo, Magik, Scarlet Witch and Ebony Maw as all are amazing characters to use with convocation. Juggernaut also if you want to change his 5 Threat out with Ebony plus his gem for effect in your team but have both in your roster

As for the Leadership I find it is highly efficient to keep it on the move range 1 side as when a character advances you small the place just cancels its out.

As for TTCs do you know which ones are best to use and when?
