Is Pioneers of Olive Town really good?

I love love LOVE the old Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons content, but if I am being completely honest with myself starting off with practically no villagers or shops, or being at risk of villagers leaving if the town isn't prosperous enough, or the town decaying if you don't revive the Harvest Goddess in time, or heavy crafting/space clearing requirements and character marriage requirements are often a swift buzz kill for me.

The Harvest Moon game I love THE MOST is Friends of Mineral Town. I play it over and over and loved the remake. I've never been quite as gungho about a HM game since that one and have been hoping a new one would come along that would really do it for me.

Other ones I enjoyed include A Wonderful Life, Tree of Tranquility, Harvest Moon: DS, and The Tale of Two Towns.

Ones I strongly disliked and never got past the first season: Island of Happiness, Sunshine Islands, Save the Homeland, Hero of Leaf Valley (well, some parts were OK), and Light of Hope.

Based on this, does it sound like Pioneers of Olive Town would be a good fit for me?
