Is rapid fire rogue as good as trap twisting blades?
Thinking about switching from melee rogue to rapid fire but i am not sure how consistent it is.

Im playing imbuements with rapid fire and it does surprisingly well, I didn't play TB in high nightmares relative to my level at the time I was using it but atleast compared to a similar investment flurry build Im doing content 25+ levels above me much easier.

Rapid fire with poison imbuement will melt single targets. Use Pen Shot with shadow imbuement to nuke trash mobs. With tank mobs use pen shot with poison to weaken, then follow up with shadow pen shot to nuke. Been running this set up since betas and it’s good

I use barrage and forceful arrow. Poison trap, death trap, poison imbue and caltrops. I use the trap talent at the end to refresh caltrops poison and death and just kite enemies. Currently only 53 having 0 issues in t3 dungeons. (Idk who downvotes sharing a build, stay bad.)

Proc vulnerable with poncture and 3 combo points then shadow imbued rapid fire and watch them melt

Have you tried poison imbue with rapid fire? i sometimes apply enough poison in one RF to cover most of the bosses bars.

Kinda. It's better at bosses than both flurry and tb. I don't like the tb build at all after the nerf to cooldowns so I use flurry with the aspect. It does more damage on paper just less aoe. The problems is you can honestly run the same build for everything and just switch out the core skills. If I was running rapid shot, I'd probably also run penetrating shot to really make sure I can kill groups.
I also just swapped TB for flurry and man my single target is not great but I am basically unkillable. I killed the butcher in NM25 today but man it took a long time.
I'm going to try TB again now that I have a ton of damage reduction and don't need flurry heal to carry me, but if that falls short I'm going to swap to the rapid fire build. Found an absolutely bonkers bow yesterday.
