PSA: Rank Protection Cards are burned even with confirmed idlers in your match

Just had a game where our jungler Cinderace decided to start idling at about the 8 minute mark, play until their next quick death, then idle the rest of the match. Naturally, we lost. Even though it was reported and get the mail confirming that (along with the bonus points to compensate), it still burned the rank protection card.

Wish they had the option to choose to use it or not.
