Received RFE for I-693 Medical Examination form, but this was submitted and received in January??

Hi there,

Struggling to find any information on the internet, so hoping someone here has had a similar experience to mine. I submitted form I-485 in November, then did my medical exam/vaccinations and mailed the sealed envelope in January. It shows that it was received by USCIS on 1/24.

I just received a Request for Evidence letter, in which they are asking me to submit a completed Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record. I'm not sure what happened, I still have the tracking that shows it was delivered, so it would appear USCIS lost my documents?

If anyone has been in this situation, what is the best next steps? Can I request the civil surgeon to provide a copy and send to USCIS along with the original tracking, showing that this was previously sent? Will I have to complete a new examination?

There's also a note on the RFE that there is a new version of the I-693 form, and civil surgeons must use the new form starting May 31, 2023. I'm not sure if this will impact the evidence I submit, but I would love to avoid paying the medical examination fee a second time if possible.
