Don't know if it helps, but a month ago u/Tragedi posted her Zelda content for pf2e.
I’m the friend in question, I looked over that and it’s good definitely a great place for me to compare power levels so thank you! I don’t like certain things about it and I think some of it was written before current rulebooks and stuff like that. Like their Tingle dedication I have it as part of the Pactbinder dedication and you take Pact of the Rupee at level 4 and that will eventually lead to more feats and powers all inspired by Rosy Rupeeland. I like that book and it would save me a lot of work but I think I still think I like where I’m going better even though I’m still in the very early stages of it.
Maybe I'm missing the point, but what work really needs done mechanically here? Wouldn't this be accomplished by buying something like The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia for world building and then away you go?
I think the setting is well established.. He's been hard at work making ancestries, feats, weapons, spells to use and all that jazz..
gotcha. I believe that Mark S had a live stream not too long ago that talked about the design process of all of things along with a sort of 'this is how challenging it is' per category. might be a good place to start if the friend doesn't have a ton of experience with homebrewing PF2e specifically. The math makes it very different than homebrewing for other d20 systems.
Gotta give your friend some mad credit! After finding this randomly when thinking about legend of zelda recently (replaying Ocarina of Time and soon Majoras mask.) And I have to say as a long time fan and TTRPG player. This was possibly one of my favorite homebrews that I've seen and will be using! Especially the fact he took the time to port stuff over to foundry and include a Json for Pathbuilder. Hes a legend inside of my book and I would love to see him keep going forward with this content. I Have plenty of friends and playersN who will be enjoying this very soon when I finally run a game very soon!
I think the pathbuilder version is the one from u/Tragedi
Its a blessing either way, I appreciate the hard work!
Hi, this is the account of Aoife Ester, the woman who actually wrote the content you're referring to. Please feel free to join our community Discord server if you'd like to discuss the content or provide suggestions/feedback.
Here’s a link it’s basically in the early alpha stages right now I’d just like things to be balanced as I go and not have to rebalance a whole ancestry or feat tree after I built it all.

It’s also being built in Pathbuilder so you have to import it there at this point.

Huh, I have a friend (with the same first name) who ran Zelda homebrew for PF1e for several years. I'd be happy to give your friend a help, but I don't use Twitter. Feel free to DM me on Reddit if your buddy wants to try chatting here or on Discord. I have written about 100 pages of Final Fantasy homebrew so I'm happy to share my thoughts and experiences.
I am said friend. I linked the homebrew import for Pathbuilder above if you want to take a look and message me with any feedback that would be appreciated.
