Very "landed gentry". Such reopen. Wow?
Welcome back. The death knell is upon us. Our subreddit of < 80,000 has received the vague yet menacing message.
It's time to determine how this subreddit handles this. As far as I can see, our options are:
- Reopen and return to business as usual.
- This isn't my preferred option, and it would be the admins preferred option, but it's an option.
- Reopen, but adjust our rules to be more lax. Allow pretty much anything and everything as long as it abides by site rules.
- If the subreddit somehow begins to have a majority of NSFW content, then we will have to update our subreddit to follow. As an added
bonusdownside, subreddits that are labeled NSFW can't show ads.
- Something else? (Change the topic of the subreddit, for example.)
- Other subreddits have chosen John Oliver, a medieval theme, etc. We can choose one of these, or make our own.
This discussion will be open for 48 hours, after which time we'll consider what is most popular and proceed from there.
New submissions to the subreddit will continue to automatically be removed during that time, but you will be able to comment in reply to this post.
