Our government is way more corrupt as theirs are and our prisons are worse. Any prison sounds bad when you call them labor camps.. were the antagonist in almost every conflict we have. The US has a sickening level of poverty and inequality (for a developed country), though it's pretty questionable to argue that most Americans are materially worse off than most Chinese or Russians. Not that I have a horse in the race either way.

USA 15.1% population vs 0.6% in china population living below poverty line. That's a quick google search but give me a little and I'll give better sources and examples when I get some free time.

The US isn't going to top any reputable list on quality of life, living standards etcetera. We all know that. Way too much poverty, poor public services, inequality, safety issues etc.
I've also never seen any reputable ranking where it ranks lower than Russia and China. But please do share the link if you find one. China and Russia are developing countries, quite poor per capita. They are going to rank far below any developed country, period.
For example, the UN's Human Development Index has US at 21, Russia at 52, China at 79. "The index considers the health, education, income and living in a given country to provide a measure of human development which is comparable between countries and over time".
