Astro C40 TR controller stopped working properly after swapping d-pad and left joystick.

I just got a refurbished c40 controller a little over two weeks ago, and just now decided to try messing with the settings, and moving around the parts, just to try it out. I swapped the places of my left joystick and left d-pad, and it was working just fine, but when I swapped them back my controller just started completely freaking out on me. The light in the touchpad wont turn on, and my inputs from both of my joystick and my d-pad aren't working on my ps4. All the other buttons that aren't interchangable are working just fine.

Any ideas on what I could've done to cause this, and what I could do to fix this? I believe I have all the parts in properly, and my controller is clean.
