What should I leave Morph at on Morphling when Laning Early->Mid Game?

I know Morphling got beat with the nerfstick to death and was left raped and bruised but I still want to try him out. I did well with him before but I haven't played him since the nerf.

My main question is around what HP do most morphs sit at when laning Early--Mid--Late game? I know obviously to switch it to save my life but Im talking about when your in "farm mode". I usually keep my HP at about 1k.....but I dunno if that's wise or not?

also is E-Blade basically a NONO now completely? or is there still room?
