Which iPad should I get for use both for college & digital art?

I’m starting college this fall and have planned on getting some sort of iPad to just take notes on, do assignments on the go, basic stuff. However, I used to be really into digital art and only used my phone & finger on Procreate Pocket for years which was hell. It was the main reason I quit doing art a couple years back because I felt so limited and frustrated. I’d love to get back into it, just casually though so I don’t feel like I need something super fancy. Do any students who simultaneously use their iPad for both art and school stuff have any recommendations for an iPad model? Just something compatible with Apple Pencil, decent storage etc. I don’t really know much about iPad models and what model would be a happy medium for both uses. :)
