Is there an apology in Reckless by Elsie Silver?

In Flawless by Elsie Silver, it was revealed that Summer was groomed by Winter’s trashbag husband (she was 17 when it started). The book was almost completely ruined for me because I couldn’t get over the fact that nobody in her family cared that she was taken advantage of by like a mid 30 year old who was her cardiologist… just so ick. If I recall correctly (it’s been a while since I read it), Summer tried to make amends with Winter, but Winter gave her the cold shoulder.

Does Winter at least apologize to Summer in Reckless? I don’t think I want to bother reading Reckless if it’s never addressed. Thanks in advance.
