List of games that don't support controllers*

*or some type of fix?

I play with xbox controller on the TV app. Every game works fine but have came across 2 that don't.

1. Most recent is Black Mesa, it recognises all buttons except for analogs, so I can jump etc but not walk/look around.

2. Dying light 2, just doesn't recognise the controller at all.

Wondering if there's a list to avoid certain games, if there's a fix, or at the very least an explanation? Thanks!
