1J to 3J’s? In a pickle, help pls 🙈

I’ve posted a few times on this subreddit (although deleted my posts due to worry of a colleague working out my identity 😅) and everyone has been extremely helpful which I appreciate.

I work in finance and have worked in J1 for two years. It’s frustratingly boring but ideal for OE. I applied for a few jobs after an altercation with a senior manager and I managed to secure J2 which I start at the end of the month. Onboarding complete and ready to go…

Unfortunately I’ve now managed to complicate things and this is where I need some advice. During my application process I applied for a contract role which I completely forgot about. They invited me for an interview this week and I just thought sod it, I’ll just do the interview and reject if offered. They offered me the job on Friday and want me to start at the end of the month (same week as J2). But the salary is much more than expected and now I’m torn.

For context:

-J1 (perm) salary is 63K -J2 (perm) salary is 60K -J3 (1 year contract) is 95K/£365 per day

Although I’d love to start both J2 & J3, I’m new to this and I think going from 1 to 3 J’s will be a bit overwhelming. I work in finance/payroll and month end would be busy for all J’s and I’m not sure 3 J’s would work. The salary on J3 is very enticing but then J2 is a permanent position and if it works out I could stay for years which will be more financially beneficial long term. Is contracting preferable for OE? Do they reference check for contract roles? (No ref checks for J2). I’m a bit stuck to be honest, with no one to really talk to (without blowing my cover), I’d appreciate your advice guys! What would you do?
