...just slap a Harrier on it [Vorcha Hunter build]
I'm going to start of saying that this is my "fuck it, nothing works and I'm stressed out" build. It's not clever, it's not pretty, but it works because of the Harrier and Cobra Missiles.
My opinion and thought process while building this class:
I hate Submission Net. It is useless to me due to offhost lag even with the proximity trap bonus, this power gives me migraines. Ima skip it.
Incinerate, not bad. It's no Flamer, but it's not bad. Maybe I could use the freeze burn combo and get the bonus against everything but shielded targets, but if I do that how will I deshield enemies. Well, I guess I can take an Acolyte (sigh) or I can turn this into a Tech Burst build and go armor damage. If I go freeze/burn what will I take for bosses? I need something that'll pair well with Cryo...fuck it too much thinking I'll just use a Harrier or Falcon.
Bloodlust power damage or weapons? Hmm, weapon damage is probably better. If I go Falcon, the weapon damage bonus will be nice and if I go the Harrier route I'll be able to chew through Armor.
Vorcha Resilience is tricky, I'll go power damage x2 and weapon.
For Fitness I'm full melee or shields.
Build 1 is a Tech Burst and melee build with the Falcon. No sidearm just the Falcon with Disruptor Rounds.
Result: Moderately effective. Melee is meh Gold and playing Collectors is a nightmare.
Build 2 Tech Burst and headshot.
I caved and tried Submission Net again and this build failed harder then the first (stopped playing this class for 2 weeks after this build).
Build 3 Harrier with Cryo Rounds. The freeze burn combo is pretty garbage with the Harrier priming.
Fuck it. You're another Harrier whore now. I take Armored Compartments because I can. All of my points come from nuking spawns, Harrier with Warp Rounds, and a sprinkle of Incinerate and melee/beheading Abominations for taste. It's become more of a soldier than my Vorcha Soldier will ever be.
You've more seen my process of building this character. I've completely given up on the clever approach and if you have a better build (especially one that skips out on S.Net), I'm all ears...well eyes.
