These drugs are primarily more potent forms of the popular 2C-x series, but also include some amphetamine analogs and mescaline analogs. They are incredibly potent, active from 0.3mg (300 ug) and up and and this provides a unique set of challenges within research chemical users.

They are incredibly visual whilst mentally gentle and for this reason they are said to be among the more recreational psychedelics.

They have been linked to a few deaths which have all been the result of unknown doses as a result of handling the drug as a powder. For this reason we recommend that you use pre-laid blotters unless you have access to a lab balance. Failing this it is absolutely essential that you use volumetric dosing to measure the dose. Seizures and HPPD have been reported at doses above 1.5mg.

First Synthesis: 2003 by Ralf Heim of the Berlin free university. You can read his PhD thesis on them here.

Intended Use: their very high selectivity for the 5-HT2A receptor has given them great application in brain imaging.

Current research into medical applications: None.

Legality: Ever changing but currently unscheduled in most countries. Possibly an illegal analogue of 2C-B in some countries. Erowid Link. Prohibited by some states in the US.
