Have you ever been too intimidated by a game to even start playing?

For me it’s the Persona games. I’m too obsessed with the idea of doing the PERFECT playthrough and not wanting to miss out on anything to even start.

Also, Mutants and Masterminds. It’s a really neat Superhero RPG but the way you built your power set makes my eyes go crossed reading them. It’s all effects and modifiers that change how they work and it’s difficult for me to parse how exactly they work without a digital aid of some kind.
