Bearded dragon acting different

Help/Advice

Lately my 10 month old bearded dragon has been acting different. He has been turning down food for nearly a week now. At first I thought it was him holding out for hornworms, which are his favorite and is not uncommon for him to do after he gets them. But usually after a day or so he eats what else is offered, but not this time. Everything I try to feed him he doesn’t want. He also tries to sleep in his hide more often. I tried lowering his basking temps because he doesn’t like when it gets too hot and his temps were over 100. They are now between 95-100, and that got him out basking more but he will still occasionally go into his hide and kind of rest there. I just changed his uvb a couple of months ago (reptisun 10.0 tube light mounted inside) so I don’t think it could be a uvb problem. I’m going to call a vet tomorrow to see about doing a fecal test to check if it could be parasites affecting him, but he pooped the other day and it seemed normal and it didn’t smell any worse than normal or like what people usually describe parasite poop smelling like. This is my first ever reptile and I’ve never experienced this type of behavior with him so I’m just worried. Do you guys think it could be a possible parasite problem, or him just being stubborn/picky with food?
