took a chance on someone for the first time in a long time, and had a fantastic night

I’ve been really stressed out from work recently. I actually took the last two days off this week to decompress, just been totally burned out.

There’s a man I’ll call J (late 20s) that I had been talking to on tinder for a few weeks. Intelligent, put together, attractive. He proposes I drive out to him to spend the night. I was a little hesitant, as I haven’t spent the night with someone new in well over a year, but I thought why not. I got in my car and headed his way.

The night was filled with massages (facial, legs, shoulders) wherever I said I felt tense, hed massage. We smoked a few bowls on his back deck and laughed for what felt like hours. He told me every part of me was beautiful, from my jawline to my legs. We talked about music and shared our favorites. We just laid, holding each other and looking into the other’s eyes. We talked about life, where I’ve been and where I wanna go, and same for him. When we woke up the next morning, he made me eggs and picked fresh fruit from his backyard to go along with them. We spent pretty much the whole day together, just relaxing and enjoying company. Not to mention, the sex was FANTASTIC.

I finally feel like a real person again, lol. I’m obviously hoping to see him again, but even if I don’t, Im so glad I took the chance.
