I quit Wal-Mart a year ago, but still have the phone. They never asked for it back.

For details, i never grabbed my last check from walmart and it was deemed “unclaimed property”. When the check came in, it was only 74$, which is weird because i worked 35 hours a week. I never returned the phone, nor was ever asked for it. Am i out of luck the 500 dollars?
