Can I do a curbless shower with a 55" square Kerdi linear shower tray and 9" hexagonal saltillo tile?

DIY home remodeler here. Im thinking of doing a curbless shower in a bathroom where the whole room is getting 9" saltillo tile on the floor. I've installed a schluter system before with a shower tray that slopes to one side into a channel drain. Thinking of doing the same thing again but this time trying to figure out the transition from level floor to sloped with the hexagonal tile. Since I wont have a straight grout line that can go all the way across the transition point (no straight grout lines when working with hexagons) am I screwed? Im thinking of using the 55" tray from Schluter. Could I get away with a tiny bit of lippage on the tiles that bridge the transition or are they prone to cracking and would it look like shit? Thank you in advance and for all the tips Ive learned on here as a lurker!
