Bannerlord - horses?

New to the game so apologize if this has become redundant.

I am trying to learn trading and all the guides I have read mentioned buying desert and aserai horses in the desert and selling in vlandia.

I can’t find any desert horses, and unfortunately my kingdom is at war with vlandia and I can’t find anywhere to offload the aserai horses anywhere

What do I have wrong?
