Dreamt my arm would fade away when i looked at it

So i had a dream a while ago, my hand got bit off by some type of animal. Today or last night however you wanna look at it, i dreamt that it was like a while after that happened and i dont know if anyone else has memories in there dreams, but i had like a flashback of when it happened and my arm was there, except when i’d look at it, it’d disappear. It would work like normal except when i would remember what happened or look it would disappear. The closest thing i can compare to is in god of war ragnarok when you are about to, spoiler kill heimdall his bifrost arm disappears. During my dream a word would be said periodically, it had no voice think of the voice in your head. It would say “phantom pain.” I dont know if dreams have meaning, ive heard like theories that they’re messages from another realm and i think thats a bit of a stretch. Anyway sorry if i sounded like i was straying away from the story. Im gonna post a couple other dreams ive had that I remember
