[TOMT] [MOVIE] [90’s-00’s] movie about group of people in a haunted(?) hospital or asylum, with a ghost(?) doctor

I remember some characters may have been forced out of their home to the asylum, there was a scene at the end with a shower to wash the blood off. Maybe a scene where they walk through a room with vats, or maybe a boiler room.
