GeekVape Sonder Q - wow.

NSFW

Anyone who knows me knows I've been loyal to a fault to the Caliburn.

I started with the original, then I moved on to the A2.

I've been using the Caliburn, and nothing but the Caliburn for the last several years, and nothing else compared for me.

I was frustrated with the poor battery life of it, and my pods would always burn out within a day or two of use.

I carried a portable charger with a backup plugged in at all times, and life was good (sort of).

When we got the Sonder Q's in, I was intrigued because it had a similar form factor (slightly wider and slightly shorter than the A2) and promised a 1000mAh battery. I gave it a shot.

The best way I can describe how the Sonder Q vapes:

If you've ever used a Caliburn, filled a brand new pod, and put it on a fully charged device - That's how the Sonder Q vapes. FOR DAYS.

While I could get that experience out of a Caliburn for a few hours, I am experiencing 4-7 days on a single pod, with full flavour on the Sonder Q.

While my Caliburn would go from Green -> Blue within an hour tops, I am getting 3-4 hours of "Green" vaping on the Sonder Q. At the same time, the Caliburn seemed to lose power when it turned blue, the Sonder Q appears to deliver a consistent vape regardless of the battery charge.

I'm sold. What a great little device.

But wait, there's more!

It's only $15.

I use one of these at work. Great little things.

Why anyone would buy a disposable when you can get one if these for the same kind of money makes no sense.

Firstly, the Caliburns are completely overrated. They still profit from the image they've earned in the "early days" of pod systems. They were the first being actually usable, but nowadays years later, a lot of better vapes are out there.
I can confirm what you've said, but can also state that others are as good, for example the Vinci Royal edition. There are only 3 pods in one pack so when I got it first I thought it might get a but pricey over time, but no, these things hold for like two weeks per pod and taste extremely, EXTREMELY nice.
I also got an Argus P1 and G, as well as a Vaporesso Gen Fit 40 and none of those beats the little Vinci in terms of taste, its quite crazy actually. And you can get the "Vinci Q" for less than 10 bucks .. its using the same pods. If youve got another 10er left, I highly recommend this. Its a super simple vape, dont expect anything fancy, youd only buy this for that flavor and logevity of the pods.

I've considered the Sonder Q, but I've been happy with Geekvape's Wenax S-C and K1 pod mods

Sonder U Series was banging. Good to hear. Will probably upgrade soon then.

Can also recommend the OXVA - XLIM Series. Insanely durable pods and great flavor :)

You're impressed by Sonder Q? Wait till you try one from Xros 3 series or Oxva Xlim Pro lol. Caliburn is dead, has been for a long time. Use an actual pod system and you'll actually enjoy the vape.

Tried all of those :) The Sonder Q is still the perfect no-bs device IMO.

Not everyone wants/needs a screen/power adjustment. The Sonder Q delivers an equal, or better experience at a fraction of the price.

I call BS bruv. You said the Sonder Q has a similar form factor to the A2, Xros 3 is the closest to the Caliburn form factor lol, so if you'd have tried you'd know. Also none of the Xros 3 series have a screen or power adjustment so caught you lying again. Next time do a bit of research before saying you've tried all of anything.

Just look at the user you are replying to :) the OVXA Slim has a screen and power adjustment, which is what I was responding to, and the Sonder Q delivering an equal or better experience at a fraction of the price was a response to the XROS 3. Lay off the completely unnecessary aggression.

User I am replying to clearly needs a bit more experience in the vaping scene is all I am seeing. I called BS on you actually properly using the Xros 3 is cause you made a comment on the similarity between the form factor of A2 and Soder Q, which anyone without having vaped a single puff in their entire life can tell are obviously not remotely close even. Xros 3 also launched before Sonder Q so you should have seen those before it and have said that look, a device with the same material and design as the A2, but is miles better in ebery single aspect.

As for the Xlim Pro, it's screen and wattage adjustment are really irrelevant to the argument which is what device provides a better vaping experience. Put Xlim aside, the Xros 3 can eat Sonder Q for days 1.Better battery life even tho same capacity 2.Better flavor due to COREX 3.Better pod range (1.2 1.0 0.8 0.7 0.6) (3 ml 2 ml) (top fill/side fill) 4.Pods cross compatible with shit ton of devices 5.Better coil life 6.Better ability to handle freebase liquids (0 3 6 mg) (70/30 80/20 VG/PG)

Sonder Q is no doubt a solid device, a bang for the buck many would say. But that's what it is, a good budget device done right. It by no means is equal to premium Xros 3 and definitely not better. Cheers mate have a good day♥️💯

Just picked this sonderQ up after losing my nord 4.

I vape salt nics, mainly naked salts. I’ve had the novo, nord1 and honestly liked them more than the nord4. Idk it just never hit satisfyingly even tho same coil. Guess the airflow? Also had the breeze 2 and it was absolute trash. Picked up the nord 4 couple days later.

This device pretty awesome. Less than half the price of the other devices too.
