By default water is drinkable, if not then a sign must warn you. It was the case in the Montagoe last year, few rare spot with the sign.
It's 100,% drinkable. Everywhere at TML the water is drinkable.
All tapwater is drinkable, even at the festival
Did you drink any last year?
Nope
I did… 💦💩🚽
Can’t confirm if it was the vodka sodas, the Belgian fries, or the sink water from Core.
I used the tap water in Montagoe last year and had no issues, others were as well.
Perfect, thank you!
In 2019 on W2 on the first day there were the „no drinking water“ signs everywhere. After they couldnt keep up with the heatwave they removed the signs.
Anyone find free water at the festival?
All tapwater in belgium is drinkable!
Yeah I know that usually. But I think they have a sign on the taps that says not drinkable if I remember it correctly. But could also be for selling more water
Yeah, should be the same as German law. If you put a “not for drinking” label on it, no one can sue you if he gets sick of it.
well on the camping they 'heat up' the water by putting it in one big ballon thing just outside the magnificent greens. its still drinkable but might taste like plastic.
I gotta admit, the canned water you can buy was SOO good
I'm not sure about the exact procedure in BE. In NL, a temporary water net such as at a festival site needs to be build, run for a while and tested for contamination. Testing takes 48hrs. After that, and with a negative outcome, it is safe drinking water. However, if you break or open the chain, it must be re-tested. Without certification, it has to be marked as "not drinking water". So, during buildup, running a forklift over a mains, or having to add another line, means retesting. And then time works against you.
Which sucks if you want to get some water on Sunday morning and the supermarket is closed.
