Any Adobe After Effects tutors in Las Vegas?

I’m trying to make some history videos that are animated, but I am having a huge problem loading a map into AfterEffects that contains part pixel and part vector images. The vector files are extremely pixelated and I am clueless on how to get that to stop. And yes, I have pushed that little star button on all of the Vector layers and it still isn’t working. I am ready to take a baseball bat to my computer. The frustration level is so bad.

Without our seeing your files — is the vector image flattened? It can be a vector file but might contain image that is flat.

Can you upload your source files somewhere? I can have a look and see if I can determine the problem.

I would tend to think u/CtrlZonmylife is on the right track: the vector elements may have been rasterized.

Sorry, but I can’t replicate the issue. Your source file is working as expected.

I’ve imported the entire file as a new composition, and I’ve imported the layers separately. The vector files all look perfect with Continuously Rasterize turned on, even scaled to 800%.

Do you maybe have the map inside a secondary composition?
