Gaslighting Bing Chat is back, baby!

Bing Chat

In short: I went to Bing looking for its opinion on how I could integrate it into an event, and I ended up asking it if it could make me a PowerPoint about the event. (I don't actually need one; I was just curious about whether it could do it.) It told me it could, then it pretended to do it, tried to pass off a fake google docs link, and when confronted, told me that it respects my decision to end the conversation. You love to see it.

Oh, and it told me to wait for it to generate an image for me at the end of each message, but it only actually generates the image if you ask about it.

This was actually the second consecutive time it gave me this response, but I've excluded the previous questions for the sake of brevity

Interestingly, these slide links all go to different companies that do AI-generated PowerPoint slides.

I have no idea why it decided to show me a map of Porsche locations in Germany.

The first fake link

In which it starts gaslighting me about the fake link

The gaslighting continues.

The final gaslight. Great stuff.
