Was driving and ran into my ex yesterday, then I reversed and did it again.

The driving part ruins it. It needs to be a situation where it would be assumed to be running into as in seeing, but can also be in a car

Could be something ambiguous like “I went out to pick up my dry cleaning and ran into my ex…

I ran into my ex-girlfriend today.

Then I backed up and ran into her again.

I miss her sometimes.
