What to use to tie garden bed frames together with?

So I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’ve been wanting to make my garden’s structure more natural. I’ve decided that I want to construct the beds out of large sticks so that they will slowly feed nutrients into the soil. I can’t figure out what the best way to fasten the sticks together would be though. Does anyone have any tips?
