The Revolutionary (Batarian Slasher)
Introduction
You wanted a Biotic Soldier? You just got one. The Batarian Slasher was meant for meaty combat, not power spamming. In between Cluster Grenades and Warp, the Slasher can deal some impressive debuffing and AoE damage. The Harrier seems to be a good fit as a burst damage rifle that can focus downs enemies quickly and efficiently.
The Harrier also has the big problem of ammo consumption. The Harrier eats ammo like competitors at a hot dog eating competition. Fortunately, between the 25% ammo bonus from Batarian Enforcer and 30% from Thermal Clip Storage V gear the Harrier has its ammo problem heavily mitigated.
Mix the two and it's a potent combination.
Powers
Warp- Standard spec for debuffing and team playing. I know people will immediately point out the Warp+Incendiary Ammo bug being a godsend, but I prefer Warp Ammo instead. Why?
Warp gives a 50% armor weakening effect with a 15% additional weapon damage effect.
Warp Ammo IV (thanks ThislsAaron for correcting me) gives a 60% ammo damage bonus, 2x damage vs Barriers, 65% armor weakening (with Warp it eliminates armor damage reduction entirely), and 100% damage vs biotically primed targets (i.e 100% of 60% -> 120% total). Warp Ammo is also effective vs all defenses save Shields. So in tandem with Warp, Warp Ammo is brutal and extremely effective for any Biotic kit using it.
Cluster Grenades- Break the 1500N threshold (2000N for Platinum) for Cluster Grenades to stagger bosses by themselves. As long as you break that threshold, choose whatever evolution you want.
Passives- Weapon damage and shielding for better gunplay. Weapon damage also gives spare ammo on a Batarian which is useful for any gun that runs out of ammo quickly, like the Harrier.
Gameplay
Somewhat like a Geth Infiltrator sniper with Proxy Mine, debuff a target and eliminate it ASAP. Warp a target, get the massive damage bonus from Warp+Warp Ammo, and repeat the pattern until everyone is dead.
Remember that your close range panic attack is Cluster Grenades and that you cannot dodge. Getting flanked is something you want to avoid at all times because Cluster Grenades aren't reliable in close range defense as soon as they hit a wall. It also seems that they forgot to add the extra stagger resistance to this Batarian at this time, but that may be me getting really mad over latency I have been having.
Ammo is something you have to worry about every so often, which isn't so bad. The extra 55% ammo greatly improves the usability of the Harrier as you do not have to camp an ammo box anymore. If you are using a weapon that doesn't suck ammo like an AutoMattock Vacuum Cleaner, the Thermal Clip Storage gear isn't necessary and something like the Warfighter Package would be better alternative.
Conclusion
Warp+Warp Ammo, with a powerful weapon and Cluster Grenades make for quite an amazing combination. I go as far to say that this kit rivals up there with the Geth Engineer, N7 kits, and the Asari Huntress in terms of strength as a top tier kit. Try it, because it is nearly impossible to regret it.
