I appreciate you guys!

I’m a first year resident and I’ve only been in the job for less than a month. I was told before I started that the nurses are mean to new residents and horror stories. I know this can be the case across all healthcare workers but so far in my experience, the nurses are the best part of my shift.

So supportive to all my questions, helping me with dosages for meds for the patients, updating me throughout the day on things I don’t see. Above all, it’s the down to earth vibe I’ve had in terms of conversations that I haven’t seen or had with my co-residents or fellows I work with. I literally have made friends with so many nurses throughout the month more than with fellow physicians.

Just wanted to drop this here and say how appreciative I am!
