Flare up before menstruation

Does anyone else feel like their hemorrhoids flare up once a month before you get your period? I’ve been noticing this for a couple months, it’s scary and frustrating. At the moment I don’t think I have anything more serious than hemorrhoids but it’s always a fear in my mind.
