I'm a peanut-butter-cup purist, so my suggestion is
r/recipes is a better place to start for questions like this. They're bigger and figuring out what to do with a given ingredient is kind of their thing. If they can't help, crosspost back here and we'll take a shot at it.
Thanks, ill give that a shot.
I personally like to put them in cheesecake. I mix cocoa powder into the crust, and I dip the cups in chocolate ganache and stick them to the crust, then pour the cheesecake batter over it. For decorative purposes, I then pipe straight, parallel lines across the cheese cake, then use a stick to make the lines wavy by running the stick perpendicular to the lines.
I don't know how you make your cheesecakes, but I use two extra egg yolks in addition to the eggs normally, but in this case, I replace the two egg yolks with two oz of peanut butter (maybe a little bit more, I usually just put a big spoon of it in). I use the recipe from Ad Hoc by Thomas Keller, but I can tell you the ingredient list if you want; the directions are the same as any other cheesecake.
Also, you should try r/recipes too.
