Kinda confused about protein and what my dietician is telling me.

So i have been trekking along my dietician took my food restrictions due to sensory issue into order and made me meal plans of foods i can eat with 85g of protein in 2200 calories (will be more soon as i have been trying foods that have high protein to see if i can adapt to them without getting sick).

She told me that's enough to go along with my jogging to gain muscle...but then i look online and it says to maintain muscle you need to eat 1.2g of protein per kg which is so then 85g is under so wouldn't all my exercise be for naught?

Dietician tells me it's ok so i assume it is but why is the info i have seen online conflicting against what i was told am i really eating too little to maintain/gain muscle.

Or is it calculated using your lean body mass instead of overall? Just trying to understand why my dietician is saying the 85g is enough.
