My Snapchat Hates Me

So for about I think half a year now my Snapchat has been horrible to deal with, if it were up to me I would have just deleted it by now but It is my only form of contact to some long distance friends. Basically every time I receive a snap I have to restart the app and refresh multiple times before the snap loads and I can view it. Also it won't allow me to un add people / unsubscribe from Snapchat stories and also it won't even let me block people, it just pops up with the message "forbidden" I've been trying to un add a few ex-friends for a while now because I simply am tired of looking at their stories but have been unable to for a while now. Yes I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling multiple times now I've tried asking Snapchat ai but that is no help either. If anyone has any recommendations PLEASE let me know I'II literally try anything. Also I haven’t seen anyone else with this problem, if it helps I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max
