Would I likely qualify for German citizenship?

I’m not sure I want to, just curious if I likely could. My Father is American and my Mother was German, my father was in the military in the 1980s when he met my Mom, if I recall correctly she was born and raised in Germany, and her family had been there for many generations, so she was a citizen. My mom and dad got married in Germany I believe and lived there for years. I believe sometime in the 1990s they moved here to the USA, I don’t believe my mom ever got citizenship here, I don’t believe she ever applied to be a citizen of the USA after they got married and moved here. I was born in 2002 here in the USA and I have full citizenship here, I have been to Germany twice and have family there still, sadly my mom passed away about a decade ago. Does it sound like I’d qualify for German citizenship or not? Like I said it’s more of a curiosity thinking rather then actually wanting to though
