Just started playing Lightning Returns. What do I need to know to make my playthrough easier/more enjoyable?

Recently finished XIII-2 (one of the best endings in the series, IMO), and jumped right into LR. So, obviously, this game is different than the others. Still getting acquainted with the time mechanic, just entered Day 2 where I have to find the numbers on the walls of Luxerion.

Considering it's the only FNC game I haven't finished at this point, it's a bit of a grand finale, and so I just plan on taking my time with this title, I'm in no rush and just want to enjoy my playthrough. So, if I may ask you guys, what are some things I should know as I start Lightning's final act?
