Back to basics. Pressure tests return, no team gimmicks besides team challenges.

I miss the original 2 cook-offs/challenges per episode format where the Mystery Box winner had an advantage. And what happened to the pressure tests? The judges are sending people home immediately after team challenges, skipping the pressure test entirely.

Honestly, anything besides this & I doubt I will tune in to another season.

I hope for a more pure Format. Less editing, less forced drama. Like Season 1-4.

My guess is itll be chefs older than 55 plus vs people between 20-30

Old format (pressure test) and uncensored Gordon and Joe would be the greatest season of all time. Greatest show of all time for that matter

It would never happen, and this is only for entertainment reasons, but I would love to see a season where all the contestants are YouTube chefs. Even if it was a short season for charity or something, kinda like Celebrity Jeopardy

It's possible! Next Level Chef had chef streamers as 1/3 of their contestants, I think some streamed on YouTube not just twitch. And masterchef mexico did a season of celebrities.

I mean this is where all of TV is going.
With such low ratings (for all broadcast TV) getting name familiarity could actually boost your numbers.

Nobody cooks at all. They just have everyone prep an onion, they look at 4 of them and send someone home.

Hopefully they remove "The Wall Challenge". Amanda's horrible idea of a dish sabotaged Derrick's chance of winning Masterchef. Their team got eliminated for the worst dish. When Gordon Ramsay asked him not to stop cooking after the elimination, Derrick didn't respond at all. Who would?
They should make the show individual and team challenge only, at least if you genuinely fked up then you deserve to go home.

Their dish was a trainwreck from concept to execution. They both made a grave costly mistake of slicing the duck breast open 15 minutes too early, causing the juices to pour out and making the poultry meat dry.
