(CO) Final paycheck issues

I recently put in notice at my old job because I got a new one within my degree field. My final paycheck from my old job is supposed to come next Thursday, but I was told that my vacation may not be paid out for a month afterwards. I was under the impression that all vacation and money owed was to be paid out on the final paycheck. Am I incorrect on that impression? It so, how long does my employer have to pay out my vacation?
