Will stacking frying pans on top of each other cause scratches/leaks?

This might be a dumb question, but I am trying to be cognizant of not scratching my pans and avoiding any chemical leaking. I bought some new stainless steel frying pans, and was wondering if I stack them on top of each other for storage, would this risk them getting scratched? Should I have them with nothing on top of each other when storing them? Thanks!
