Adv Intern interviewing status

Hi all, so my internship with KPMG ended a week ago and on the campus portal the status says "interviewing" do interns get interviewed in order to land a full time offer? I haven't received any email and I remember I didn't get asked to interview last time after my internship to get my current internship.
