Thank you I'll try it
Can you print anything? Or is it just this shape that's not working?
Others were doing the same but I'm printing that piece right now flipped the other way and so far so good right now
So update everyone it was doing well then this happened
Wait how to I add a picture here
select the supports option in the top right dropdown. within that, select "tree support" instead of cross or zig-zag. then check the box for 'support from build plate'.
that should get you sorted and use the least amount of filament.
Ok ill try that
Omg is glue on bed? Change hobby my friend
Yes there is glue and no I will not change hobbies, I will get better by learning and asking for help
How did the glue get there?
Wtf is on the bed? Butter? If that a pei sheet all you need to do is clean it with alcohol and it should stick. And if your still having trouble getting prints to stick and your bed is level then up the initial layer extrusion to like 120% that will push the filament in there real good but you will get elephants foot.
It came with the Printer, im cleaning it now and I'll try that
Yea you shouldn't need anything on a good pei bed. And even a bad one the least you need to do is take the green scrubby part of a sponge and scuff it up a bit. That's like worst case though. Usually a good cleaning with alcohol will get the job done. And a little overextrusion pushed the melted filament down into the texture for a good hold. I usually only do that for larger prints that can be knocked off the bed easily.
Thank you for being very helpful and informative 🙏
Yeah try clean it with warm soapy water and try not to touch it as much as possible sometimes the oil from your fingers makes it not stick.the only time I would use glue is with certain really sticky filaments
Something wrong with your print board. Get rid of the glue, and cover it with painters tape(sticky side of tape to board, rough blue side to where the printing will happen. See if the plc or whatever will stick to the tape that way.
Try using support that shape is a little hard for the printer to pull off without some supports.
Maybe even try flipping it upside down
