First of all, only $100 million is set aside for buybacks.

Second, use your imaginations for once! Everyone needs to take a step back and really understand what having this big of war chest means. Not only does it insulate us from the pummeling ass ram the market is about to take once AI-fever subsides, but you've also got to realize that we only need to use a fraction of that $1.4 BILLION to make strategic acquisition(s). We could even use just parts of it as down payments for multiple acquisitions if we get financing - though unlikely in this rate environment.

GameStop needs to make money, not corral it. We have already done that. So I'm perfectly comfortable letting the board wait for the right moment to strike on a hot deal.
