Question regarding spellcasting atribute when multiclassing.

New Player Question

I am wondering what atribute will be used whe casting spells in an 6lvl druid / 6lvl sorcerer, or 6lvl cleric / 6lvl sorcerer. Will it be charisma, wisdom or specific to the origin of the spell if not specified that the spell is for example a wisdom check.

I am thinking about playing on playing and thiamat cleric / gold draconic bloodlinie confused chaotic character, but I can't figure out how will that work with spells.

It’s based on the list it came from

specific to the origin of the spell

This is how it works.

A level 6 druid, level 6 sorcerer will use wisdom for the spells they obtained from being a druid and charisma from spells they obtained from being a sorcerer.

Spells obtained from items or cast from scrolls should use whatever your best spellcasting stat is.

A cantrip obtained from a racial perk (as an elf) counts as wizard and will scale of Int.

If a spell is learned from a WIS caster you cast with your WIS, if the spell is learned from a CHA caster you cast with your CHA. There’s no intermingling with stats to spells.
