Army (enlisting) - Question about Family Housing/Location

I'm currently enlisting in the Army (11B). I've read that there is a massive gap in recruiting this year and they are allowing some people to chose their station after basic. Given this information, I'm a husband, a father of two, and have 3 cats.

Where do you suggest for a "picked" station? Ideally, I'd like to give my kids a great shot at making some friends while allowing my wife to still work for her job (Kroger Corporate e-comm manager), and keep all my cats haha. I don't care about my own welfare as I know what I'm signing up for, I only care about theirs.
