How do you control your fighting games?

When I started off playing fighting games I always used a controller for years (unfortunately that comes with dpad pains) eventually I got tired of it and just go straight to keyboard and y'know what? It felt great! Doing joystick motions felt more natural to me with keys (couldn't do 1 specific joystick motion and it's the 360 or double 360 for Iron Tager and Kokonoe's Astrals in BlazBlue Central Fiction unfortunately) it felt better and it feels like the transition to fight sticks might be easier than I thought it would be
