I am struggling with asking for more money.

Hey girls, I am struggling with asking for more money. I started last year as junior in software engineering (I had a lot of previous experiences in different fields though). I started with quite low salary but I was happy and grateful for it anyways, as it was hard to find a job without experience. This is a very small early startup btw.

After 3 months I got a raise of 10% cause I was doing a good job. Now it is going to be a year on the job and I would like to ask for more money as my current experiences is valued more on the market, I became more independent and do not rely on senior dev too much.

But I just hate the money talk and negotiation, I have no idea how to even start this conversation. How is salary policy in your company, do you have some specific tiers/levels, tied with more money, where you can climb to?
