Tight cage using the Cobra R Standard

I've been wearing a cobra r standard and it's been pretty good so far, though whenever I get notably hard, it causes me to bulge out through the openings like playdoh through a strainer. This does eventually leave some rather bad markings on my shaft, and while its not painful, it doesn't look good.

The Cobra R fits perfectly length wise, allbeit my tip does stick out of the end sometimes in a annoying way, but the real question is this:

Would it be better to shop around for a R Wide or try getting a R+ Wide?
